In some cases, they may need to make repairs or order a replacement part as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Take Care of Hearing Aids<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Earwax, ear drainage and other moisture can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nidcd.nih.gov\/health\/hearing-aids#hearingaid_08\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">damage a hearing aid.<\/a> One way to help avoid frequent problems with your hearing aids is to develop a regular maintenance routine. This involves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Cleaning your hearing aids every night with a soft dry cloth or a brush<\/li><li>Storing them in a cool, dry place<\/li><li>Avoid using hairspray, gels or other products while wearing your device<\/li><li>Turn off hearing aids when they are not in use<\/li><li>Replace dead batteries immediately<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s also essential to have regular appointments with your audiologist every six months to a year.
